How this is run

What you can take as true.

tnyx is a small shortener with QR codes and campaign tags. It is run by the same people who already keep other production sites online. This page is the honest version, not a brochure.

Who runs it

CME United operates tnyx.us on the same US infrastructure as our other live sites. There is not a separate company, a funding round, or an on-call SLA. If you need a contract and 99.9%, this is not that product yet.

What we store

Your account, the destination URL, optional UTMs, QR settings, and click rows (time, referrer, user agent). Links stay on the account that created them. We do not sell click data. We do not use it for advertising.

Your destinations stay yours

A short link is a pointer. The long URL is yours. You can export slug, destination, UTMs, and click counts as CSV from Links, and the click rows (time, referrer, user agent) from a link’s page, while you are signed in.

What happens if we wind down

We will keep redirects up long enough for you to move — at least 90 days after we say so here and by email. We will not silently delete printed or campaign slugs. If we ever charge money, unpaid extras (when they exist) can go away; the redirect should not.

Free use today

Accounts can keep 12 active links. Disable one to make room. Disabled links still exist on your account and can be exported. Administrators are not capped. You can attach one custom hostname with a CNAME to tnyx.us and a TXT challenge; TLS on that name is still a manual server step. Paid plans are not here yet. Do not print a QR you cannot reprint until the hostname you control actually reaches tnyx.

Mail

Transactional mail (verify, reset, sign-in codes) is sent as TNYX from tnyx@cmeunited.com through our existing mail provider. Replies go to that shared inbox.
